RULES FOR THE HANDLING OF RETURNABLE DPPL / IBC PACKAGING, 1,000 L Centro-chem sp. z o.o. sp.k.
These Rules define the principles governing the operation of the reuse system for reusable packaging in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2025/40 of the European Parliament and of the Council (PPWR).
Returnable DPPL / IBC packaging with a capacity of 1,000 L is designed, manufactured and placed on the market for multiple use through successive filling cycles or repeated use in accordance with its intended purpose. Such packaging remains the property of Centro-chem sp. z o.o. sp.k. and is intended for the storage of raw materials supplied by Centro-chem sp. z o.o. sp.k. under a commercial agreement or order.
Centro-chem operates a DPPL / IBC packaging reuse system which includes:
issuing the packaging,
collecting the packaging from the user,
assessing its technical condition,
cleaning,
preparing the packaging for refilling,
returning the packaging to circulation.
A Customer who has purchased raw material from Centro-chem sp. z o.o. sp.k. in 1,000 L DPPL / IBC packaging is obliged to return the packaging within 120 days from the date of sale of the goods.
Returned packaging should be:
emptied,
closed,
secured,
free from any other substances,
unmodified,
returned with the original label intact,
undamaged.
Packaging must be used solely in accordance with its intended purpose. It must not be used for storing other products or subjected to any modifications.
Empty packaging will be collected from the Customer using transport provided by Centro-chem sp. z o.o. sp.k. After collection, Centro-chem will inspect and clean the packaging and determine whether it qualifies for reuse or should be withdrawn from service.
Packaging that does not meet safety or quality requirements will be withdrawn from the reuse system and transferred for appropriate management in accordance with applicable regulations.
Each item of packaging has an individual identification number allowing it to be identified and monitored within the reuse system. Packaging is used repeatedly until it loses the required technical parameters. Packaging withdrawn from the reuse system is transferred for recycling or recovery in accordance with applicable regulations.

If the packaging is not returned within the required period, a VAT invoice with a payment term of 14 days will be issued in accordance with the following price list: DPPL / IBC container, 1,000 L – PLN 500 net per unit.
The User undertakes to:
use the packaging in accordance with its intended purpose,
refrain from modifying the packaging,
refrain from removing any markings,
protect the packaging against damage,
return the packaging on time.
Centro-chem sp. z o.o. sp.k. reserves the right to refuse acceptance of packaging that is damaged or contaminated with substances other than the raw material sold in that packaging. The return of damaged or contaminated packaging will result in the issuance of a charge invoice for an amount equal to the value of the lost packaging.
These Rules shall apply from 1 January 2026 and shall form an integral part of orders fulfilled by Centro-chem sp. z o.o. sp.k. within the framework of commercial cooperation.
