Centro-chem Attends the EPCA Annual Meeting for the Fifth Time
From 5 to 8 October 2026, Vienna hosted the Annual Meeting of the European Petrochemical Association (EPCA). As a member of the association, Centro-chem took part in this important event, which brings together representatives of the international petrochemical industry.
The theme of the 60th EPCA Annual Meeting was Rethinking Resilience, reflecting the challenges facing European industry, including competitiveness, supply chain resilience and the future of international cooperation. These topics also provided an important backdrop for discussions held in Vienna.
Challenges Facing the Chemical Industry and the Importance of International Cooperation
The EPCA 2026 agenda placed significant emphasis on the challenges facing the European chemical industry. From the perspective of a chemical raw materials distributor, particularly pressing issues include high energy costs, shifting international trade patterns, regulatory pressures and increasing global competition. In this environment, resilience means not only being able to respond to immediate disruptions but also preparing for long-term changes in the market.
For Centro-chem, participation in EPCA 2026 also provided an opportunity to meet with existing business partners, establish new contacts and exchange insights and perspectives on developments in the chemical raw materials market. Face-to-face discussions offer valuable opportunities to explore current challenges from different perspectives, gain a better understanding of partners’ needs and discuss opportunities for future cooperation.
Let’s Stay in Touch
